chances of IM residency+fellowship down the road?

What else should I do to make myself more competitive for academic IM programs ? I would much appreciate it if you could give me some insights and suggestions. Thanks!!!

Dude you are fine. Just do well in your clerkship and try to get honors. Getting fellowships is more due to networking in residency.

234 is a solid score. Will it impress top programs? Nope. Will it keep you from matching into a mid tier Univ program? Nope. Is there anything you can do about it now? Not really.

Focus on what you do have control of. Do well on clerkships. Try to do better on Step 2. Do a SubI early and get good letters.
