Is it bad that I'm only shadowing and doing research (I've done some clinical volunteering and tutoring and served as a leader to a campus organization)?

Community Outreach volunteer- 2 years
Tutoring- 4 months
Health Department Volunteer- 1 year

Nobody ever said that you have to each of Clinical Volunteering, Shadowing, Basic Research, and take 17 credit hours every semester. Balance your schedule according to what you can handle. Nobody here can really tell you if this schedule is something you can handle or not.

Agree with Ace, different schedules work for different people. A course load may be ok for one person, but be horrible for another. Also, mad kudos if you're able to stick to that schedule.. Whenever I make a schedule that specific, it pathetically falls apart.

In terms of EC's, I think you're fine. If possible I would maybe try to fit in one more semester of the clinical volunteering, but that's just me. Just beware of overloading.. If things get rough, bail on the shadowing and focus on your grades. Then take a lighter course load next semester. Good luck.
