Clinical Volunteering or not?

I realize that there's probably already threads out there on this topic, so apologies in advance for asking.
I'd like to help out in a nursing home in the recreation center (to get interaction with the aged and patients) and was wondering if this would count as clinical volunteering. It sounded really interesting to me, compared to helping out in a hospital, and I'd much rather do this.
Wanted to check before I actually get started on it.

Thanks so much! I often hear things about hospital volunteering and the like, but would this also count as "clinical volunteering"?
