In the Kaplan Ochem book, it states that E-2-butene and Z-2-butene are diastereomers, but there is no chiral carbon in either molecule. The book defines Disastereomers as molecules that are chiral and share the same connectivity, but are not mirror images of each other. Am I missing something?
