hey guys,
So I'm a new grad, who just passed the October NPTE (hooray!), and I'm interviewing for a job. I know that negotiation is super important (thanks jblil) and I was wondering how much I need to push for CEUs at my first job. I know that as a new grad I don't need to do as many CEUs during my first two years (I'm pretty sure I read that we get 15 credits just for graduating). As a frame of reference, I'm going to be licensed in NJ. I guess what I'm getting at is
1) is it worth it to tell a potential employer that I'd prefer to get cash instead of a CEU benefit for the first year?
2) how hard/expensive is it to scrape together 15 CEUs without a medbridge account (or some other package that the clinic may have)
3) am I overthinking the value of a CEU benefit?
Thanks guys,
Granny
