Hey everyone!
I'm trying to fill out this residence check sheet and it asks me how long my continuous physical presence has been in my state... does this mean overall how long I've lived here.. or how long without vacations.. or what? I left my state for a month one time... I just feel weirdly confused lol.

Anyway thanks!

Continuous means without breaks (i.e. living elsewhere). Vacations don't count.

So if I went to a different college in a different state for a month one time (but had to withdraw-long story) and technically 'lived' there for that month I should include that?

I think moving out of state primarily to attend college doesn't usually count against you when proving where your 'domicile' is, but physical presence is a whole other thing. You may have to exclude that month. Try calling the school you're filling this out for, they should be able to help! I called Buffalo about their NY residency requirements, and it seemed like they had basically memorized the state rule-book :)
