General Admissions & OTCAS CPR/first aid certs prior to starting a program

My CPR/first aids certs are out of date. Are online certs generally acceptable or are in person certs usually demanded? (My prior certs were done in person, so this would merely be a required review)

Pretty sure any CPR has be done in person. I know one of the AHA instructors here has a way for people to take the written test online, and then show up the last 1/2hr in class to show your skills on a dummy.
