I know you don't have to be perfect for CS' PE but how many spots on back and chest do you check when listening to lung sounds?
I think I read somewhere that when listening to the mitral valve the pt should recumbent?

Any other suggestions, advice, tips?

I have my test in 13 days and I need to start studying for this thing:mad:
I'm almost finished reading FA, but just don't have any drive to study. I'm also doing an away rotation so don't really have solid partners to study with.

What a waste of a test:mad:

Only bust out the full exam when necessary, but if for example lungs aren't the focus then I just listened posterior to say 4, maybe 6 spots. However, if they had a pneumonia I listed anterior, posterior, performed fremitus/egophony..etc. This is basically the sameway for the cardio portion to.

I did the same thing that Gouda did. Personally, I didn't have time to do a completely thorough PE on every patient. But, I passed:D, so I did something right.
