I am currently a second year dental student that is actively trying to switch over to med school. I know that I will have to start from the beginning but I know that medicine is the right field for me. Are there any other students like me out there? If so, what schools have you found that look favorably upon a dental student transferring to med school? I know that the University of Virginia and Heritage School of Medicine (Ohio University - DO) like that I am in dental school and switching over, but other schools really dont look favorably on being in dental school before med school. I know I have to take the MCAT and do the whole process so its not really "transferring" per-say.
