well.......very good scope if u are MDS........
if BDS........work experience of 2-3 years......
or if from india.......housejob or work experience at PGI...CMC...AIIMS counts a lot........
all this is second hand info from my seniors who are already there.....

How about DDS or DMD from the US? - is that considered more or less qualified? - I hope it's not the latter.

What are the benefits like as far salary, private practice costs and flexibility of the hours?

american graduates are overqualified by the dental clinics and hospitals in the UAE.
they really prefer american or a western education and will be decently considered in salary and in accomodation etc.
they even consider the National Board Certificate issued by the ADA.

How would you compare dentist salaries in the UAE to the US?

Average dentist in the US currently makes about $150-$160K, and average specialist makes around $250K+ each year (with experience).

Any websites regarding dentistry in the UAE?
