Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if I could get some advice on how to move forward with this. I graduated with a Health Science major from CSUF, and am interested in going towards the MFT and/or PsyD path. I've looked up the differences between the two, and the line between the two seems a little blurry, so I was wondering if I could get some clarification on that. Also, I've looked up accredited programs and some offer a PysD, and that includes a MA in MFT also. It's just a bit confusing and overwhelming (I've graduated for a few years now), so any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Psychologist's scope of training and practice is obviously much larger, but if you want to primarily do therapy, then i see little reason to pay 150-200 thousand dollars (PsyD) in tuition for that privilege.
