It's my first semester as a pod student and I failed 2 of my classes. Now I'm being dismissed by my school. I didn't cheat, or do anything shady.

I've appealed once already and they rejected it once. My last option is to appeal directly to the dean of academics.

My question is...now what?

Can I reapply? What is still left in my options? I want to pursue medicine, and don't really have the financial ability to go to a Caribbean school. Is that the only option left for me?

I'm feeling down, depressed, and suffocating because it feels like the end of the road to me. So please, any and all advice is really appreciated.

Exhaust all appeals. Ask for an LOA.
You will have time to re-group and make an un-pressured decision.

I will ask for an LOA. Will it actually help? It feels like the school doesn't even want to give me another chance...

I'm really sorry. You are going to have to take charge here, whichever way this goes.
