Dr. Jenkins mentions which topics are 5 star (more than one question on everybody's test) or 4 star (at least one on most tests) etc. Has anybody compiled a list of these topics/do they have it available somewhere? It would be nice to review and make sure you have the key topics... Sorry if that has been posted or discussed before, I went through a few DIT threads and couldn't find it.

Yeah, I did. They don't provide them to you in written form, so I'm guessing that means that they don't want to provide them to you in written form... so if somebody asks me to remove this, I'll remove it.

Thanks, you're the best. I'm impressed that you're on SDN so quickly after you took the exam. And even more impressed that not only did you keep a list of the running topics (as I wish I had done), you remembered the number of questions you had with each and wrote them all down. I'm sure you crushed that exam.

Ha, well, honestly, I've got nothing better to do. I have a tendency to schedule things in a way that requires a lot of running/rushing to meet deadlines/goals, so I'm currently at the airport waiting for my flight back to Sydney (where I'm starting my ER rotation 24 hours after landing)... I'd basically scheduled Step 1 on the last possible day.

Heh, well, I should mention that the list doesn't have everything... I probably missed a couple of things here and there. But I always made a note in FA when they mentioned a star-rating for any topic, so I was able to make this list much more comprehensive during my final pass of FA.

you remembered the number of questions you had with each and wrote them all down.
For some reason, I tend to obsess about exam questions immediately afterwards. I had a 90-minute train ride home after my exam, so I just sat down with my laptop and updated this list and wrote my post-exam forum post.

I'm sure you crushed that exam.
Ha, if only there was a correlation between Step I scores and the quantity of the test taker's weird neurotic habits. But anyway, I guess we'll find out on July 11...

Thanks for the positive wishes; I'm glad I could help. Now if only there was a writing section on the USMLE... maybe Step 4?

THANKS SHAN, I needed the DIT list. However I just noticed what the numbers on the side meant. Are your sure that's wise?

How would it be unwise? What's the risk?

Ohh, and thanks for this list...copied and saved :)
