Do med schools care about how long you stayed at a job?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Schools likely won't care unless you've had 3+ jobs for one month at a time, or any configuration that makes it look like you keep getting fired or quitting because you don't play nicely w others.

I would start looking for research though. 1,000 hours is well above average for clinical experience.

Do you have nonclinical volunteering? Shadowing? Research is fine to have but it’s not that high on the priority list of must haves.
