Do schools throw out all the applications and dat scores from the previous sycle when the new one begins. If I am reapplying shouldn't I just leave the optional dat section on the application blank. After I retake the dat ADA will mail them my old and new score.

Not many schools hold on to previous applications. If your old DAT scores weren't too great I would wait until you take it again before reporting them. SOme schools make an inital review to see if the app is worth futher consideration. In the bureaucratic mess they may weed out your app. before they see your new scores
