Does a FAB(Failure because of Absence) or FIN get calculated in the ADSASS GPA?

Lets say your taking a class and your doing really bad in it, and its to late to withdraw. So your only 2 options are get a C-, or not take the Final exam and get a FAB(Failure because of Absence) or FIN(Failure for incomplete work). I am not sure what to do. Does it get averaged in the ADSASS GPA? I am pretty sure it does, but i just wanted to double check with some of the knowledgable SDNers.... Also, how do Dental school admissions look at this? Either way i will be retaking the class with another professor and the grade will be discarded after i repeat the class....
