Someone said that as many as 50 might come off of it this year, but it seems a bit high to me. i believe somewhere around 300 acceptances have been sent and about half to drop. Some project that the slow progress of rebuilding New orleans may play a role in students choosing schools. Last year, no one was taken off the waitlist, and more students than expected didn't withdraw their acceptance. This year may be different. Good luck!

What I really wanted to know was the number of people on the wait list. I know last year it was about 150 to 200. So if anybody knows what it is this year that would be great.

i don't think this is commonly known. i asked a student today who is on the adcom. he doesn't know.

class size will be 175. that's all the info i know.
