Reading FA it says that Sprionolactone, Ace Inhibitors and ARBs decrease mortality in HF pts.

But in sketchy, all these sketches have the angel indicating that they increase mortality in these pts.

Can anyone explain what's going on here?

I believe FA also lists Beta blockers decreasing mortality in compensated HF, but not in decompensated HF.

Is this just because in decompensated HF the beta blockers would constrict blood flow to organs that are already underperfused?
