So I uploaded a picture of the passage.

816. The cyclic, minute-to-minute function of the cardiac myocytes is complicated and involves which of the following outward current generators?
I. selective channels for Na+ and K+
II. selective channels for Cl-
III. selective channels for Ca2+

B. II only

Given the passage information, I was wondering where do I find this answer? I see the parts that say inward and outward, and what that means, but how do I know what's moving in and what's moving out? I know for normal nervous system, Na+ always wants to go in, so it is facilitated out and for every 3 Na+ two K+ are brought in.
