Hey everyone, im having a problem with EK101 Test 12 Q 7 . It states that the regarding Athenian democracy, Thucydides asserts that:
I chose C, the Athenians were actually living under tyranny. Which seems to be said on line 70 "your empire is a tyranny". However the answer given is A that a powerful state will never be ESTEEMED. The reason given quotes a line saying that "Thucydites notes that a powerful state will never be LOVED". Any ideas on how thats a better answer?

EDIT: There are a bunch of mistakes on the answer key for test 12 (on the last passage).
