Emails from medical schools

I have received several emails including Duke and Dartmouth to apply to their medical schools. Do these emails mean anything? Should I even bother applying to these schools?

They probably just want you to pay them a secondary fee. I got the same emails, too.

I have received several emails including Duke and Dartmouth to apply to their medical schools. Do these emails mean anything? I am.a Texas resident and thus, concentrated on the TMDSAS application rather than that of AMCAS. Should I even bother applying to these schools?

No. No.
These are blanket emails sent to students who may have checked particular boxes in their primary applications. They have not reviewed you, in particular.
