Most ADCOMs like to see longevity in clinical volunteering but do I need to explain why I had to stop my main clinical volunteering (and most meaningful experience) and start a new one?

I was volunteering at an inpatient hospice, but they closed due to funding and relocated to another hospital further away. So I had to stop going due to distance and scheduling issues.

If I have to reapply this year should I explain in that activity why I stopped and started a new clinical activity?

You could put something in the description of the activity that the hospice moved in [date] to a location N miles away and you were unable to travel that far to continue interviewing there.
