Hey, everyone. I just wanted to get some feedback and maybe some additional suggestions of where to apply with my stats. I know my MCAT score is on the lower side, but I do not have time to retake it due to summer classes and research :/.

My list so far includes only the MD and DO schools in Florida (9 total).

With the equivalent of a 26 MCAT your best bets are going to be DO.
An application to your state public schools is ok. FSU looks like your best bet.
The following are the MCAT 10th% for your state schools:
FAU 29
FIU 28
FSU 24
USF 28
UCF 29
O of F 29

For DO Schools you may want to consider:

Nova
Lecom-Bradenton (probably your best bet with a 3.2 median GPA and 26 mcat + Florida native)
Edward Via Carolina Campus
Alabama COM
Touro Nevada
WesternU - Pacific NW
Any other recently founded DO schools
Finally, channeling Goro, "I can't recommend LUCOM"

Also may not want to name the doctors you shadowed, to protect both your anonymity and theirs.

As for MD, your best bet will be Florida State. In your secondary, emphasize you experiences with primary care and how you want to be a physician in the medically underserved/rural areas of Florida.

Thank you! I edited my post. I guess I got caught up on being as specific as possible.
