Hi guys. Regarding this question: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/440/87885487.png/ , wouldn't it depend on what the actual base that is being added is? For example, I could add NH3 as a base and it would not affect the OH concentration.
If I remember correctly, which I should cuz I'm taking my DAT soon, this is a hydrolysis of salts and Ca is a acidic ion which can be neglected thus causing this reaction to be basic. And I would just think that by Le Chat guy's principle, the eq will shift left... correct me if I'm wrong lol
