im sure you can help my friend which is going through bankruptcy now do to past experiences. do you think a university that will give him a loan even though he filed bankruptcy. what if he wants to go to medical school after. if you guys know anything please help. he really wants to go to school but hes gonna need loans.

As long as you are current on your federal student loans, the federal government will lend you money. It won't be enough to finance dental school. Private lenders lend money to people bankruptcy in their past all the time. It depends on how long ago, how much debt dischrarged, etc. It might only boost the interest rate the bank charges.
