Getting ready for a Gastroenterology rotation ?

Hello everyone ,
I am an IMG starting a gastroenterolgy elective rotation at UNM in a month. It's a combination of inpatient and outpatient practice. I am a little stressed as it will be my first interaction with the US healthcare system. I would truly appreciate any advice on how to be well prepared for this rotation.

In GI just remember that the only excuse not to do a rectal exam is the absence of a rectum.
