After all the training you GI's do, which is a lot, why are the jobs available either
1. tons and tons of call, maybe every night, or every other night, for at least 500g a year
or
2. minimal call with residents covering (like at an academic center), for 300g or so.
Aren't there jobs in between?? As a procedure field, it is a pita to be on call every night!
These are for jobs that do not include ERCP.
