hey guys...is it hard to get into GPRs? do they look at your high school records and undergrad records when choosing people for these? also, do you get paid while youre doing a gpr?

for the people at buffalo, how do you feel about being required to do a gpr? what all does a gpr involve?

Yes, you get paid for a GPR.
You do not have to do a GPR at Buffalo, but you are required to do a GPR if you want to practice in New York state after graduation.
A GPR involves a hospital based dental clinic with many rotations through hospital departments. However, most of your time is spent treating patients in the clinic. Your experience will differ depending on what GPR you match to. AEGD's are also an option. They are normally programs affiliated with a dental school or post graduate school. You tend to get paid a little less, but often are getting more training in new technology and materials.
