Hello everyone!
I have just signed a contract at Carillon Clinic in Roanoke, VA to do Family Medicine and Medical Informatics. I've been lurking in this forum for awhile...ever since I started rethinking my decision to go into Urologic Surgery before the match. I've been doing a family medicine rotation to get the hang of medicine again and found it very rewarding. I found that I really missed the breadth of cases that come through the door each day.
Plus now I can hang out with KentW in this forum...who's always been one of my favorite posters, even when I was a lowly premed.
Anyway, no real point to this post except to say hello to everyone.
Anyone starting residency in Roanoke, give me a shout, would love to meet up with you before the chaos starts on July 1st!
