I was wondering what hormones should still be high in concentration during menopause. I was thinking maybe estrogen and progesterone, since these inhibit secretion of LH and FSH, which are not needed as much.

I believe LH and FSH stay high in menopause since there are no more follicles left in the ovaries to release estrogen/progesterone. Therefore, there is no negative feedback to limit FSH/LH so FSH/LH remain high
