How busy is first week of optometry school?

Hello,

So I have a good friend of mine who has asked me to be in her wedding party, but her wedding is the weekend following the first full week of optometry school (1st weekend in September). Will I already be too busy to fly home and participate in all the wedding activities for the weekend?

Not optometry student, but if the first week includes orientation, then you are unlikely to be too busy.
