Hi. I recently submitted AMCAS and I noticed that I made a mistake, please let me know how bad it is.
I've done research from 07/2017 - 02/2020. In Dec. 2018, I switched labs and won a summer fellowship for lab#2 for the summer of 2019.
For the research activity on AMCAS, for the dates section, I wrote 07/2017 - 02/2020, which is accurate. However in the activity description I write "....During Dec. 2019, I joined [lab#2] and studied..." This is the mistake. Instead of writing Dec. 2018, I wrote Dec. 2019. The recommendation letter from my PI has the correct information, which says that I joined his lab in Dec. 2018, so there is an inconsistency.
How fatal is this mistake? Will it affect my chances at getting an Interview? Thank you for the help
