I know that there are many variables to what constitutes a good medical school application. I'm just wondering what is the general consensus for number and quality of LORs to be considered a good applicant.

In my case, I have 3 LORs all from science professors as part of my committee letter package, but I don't know if it's good enough. I know my letters will be strong, because I have also done research, laboratory assistantship, TAing, etc. in addition to taking their courses with them, and have received positive feedback.

I'm assuming it's 3 letters + a committee letter? That should suffice. Usually we see 4-5 individual letters, or a packet with a committee letter and 4-5 attached LORs. Quality over quantity.
