how many prelims would you guys feel comfortable with

im starting to get some serious interview fatigue and running realll low on money. right now I have 10 prelims scheduled, all small community no name programs filled with mostly IMG.

im a US MD grad with average board scores and i'm very good at interviews, fwiw

90% of my neuro programs i applied to are categorical or "pseudocategorical"

tentatively, my top 6 neurology rank list are all categorical or guarentee prelim spots

would it be okay to cancel 2 or 3 prelim spots?

I know everyone is different and is there is no standard answer, but would you in my situation

I don't see any real point in bothering with prelims if you're top 6 are guaranteed integrated prelims. The chance that you'd drop below your 6th (unless its very very top heavy) are pretty low ( most get top 3)
