Just took the NBME practice which had 46 q's per block like UW. Wondering how many Q's per block are on the actual Step 2 CK, and is it 1 hour per block? Thanks for replies.

Yes, there are 46 questions per block on Step 2-CK and, Yes, each block can last up to 60 minutes. Basically: 15 minute tutorial, 8 blocks (46 questions and 60 minutes each) and 45 minutes of break. Any left-over time from the tutorial and finishing blocks early gets added to the break time, so the "master clock" counts down from
9 hours!

it's a good idea to skip the tutorial, and just read it at home on that cd they send you. There isn't much time for breaks, and the tutorial is essentially a waste of time.

How is the length of each question on the actual exam? Are the questions longer, shorter, or about the same as UW?

I thought the actual exam questions were about the same if not a little longer than USMLEworld, but easier too. Definitely not as detailed or nit-picky.
