Medical How should I spend the months leading up to medical school?

Hey,

I will be graduating undergrad in a month(ish). I was recently accepted to my top choice medical school (yay!) and will have about 6.5 months between graduating and matriculation. I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to spend the time leading up to matriculation? Should I work? Should I keep shadowing and gaining clinical experience?

for current medical students, what do you wish you did with the time you had before starting medical school?

Congrats! do what you love, travel, and spend AS MUCH time with your family and friends. Because once this journey starts you will have limited time to do so in medical school and more so in a residency.

The golden times are the time after acceptance for medical school and before you start...AND 4 years later when you get accepted into residency and before you start.
