I've applied to programs in Public Health Nutrition and some Coordinated Masters Programs for an RD. The programs are all pretty small and competitive.
I have also just been offered a job working for non-profit doing food policy and nutrition education work. Basically one of my dream jobs and it would be a great way to save up money.
I still really want to go to school to become a Registered Dietitian, so I want to go through will all of my interviews. At what point do I bring up the option of deferment? I understand that it's not an option for all programs.
