How to verify deferment or forbearance

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out...

Ive gotten my mortgage approved already, but the lenders are looking for some kind of verification that my loans will not have to be paid off until I graduate from residency. I'd like to know what people have done to satisfy the lenders that the loans wont be due. Sallie mae wont even entertain a request for forbearance until its 30 days b4 repayment, and i have grace periods on my loans.

heard letter from financial aid office would work

My residency program was willing to write me a letter. They also accepted a copy of acceptable forbearances from ed.gov or from the lender directly.

i got the clause removed..they used the blank form for forebearance. I also had Sallie mae write me a letter.
