basically title; does a thesis bring any advantages to a med school app? also, if thesis is graded and we do a thesis in a STEM field, can the grade count towards our science GPA?
1) A senior thesis brings no particular advantages to medical school applicants other than another accomplishment that can be listed/discussed in W&A/EC section. If thesis is research based and published it can add a small value to overall application
2) if thesis is written officially under a course that is on transcript it can be added to BCPM if it clearly covers basic science work in those fields
I would NOT consider a thesis a "Publication" if the public availability of the manuscript is solely in the archives of your college in print or electronic format.
