Also, i just learned that school can see all the other schools you've applied to.

Does this put an applicant at a disadvantage if med schools feel like he/she is getting desperate to get into medical school?
We cannot see where you applied.

You could eliminate at least 10 schools without reducing your chance of acceptance.

Which ones do you want to go to most? Pick those, since they are reaches anyway.

cali resident, attended UC. 31 MCAT. 3.7 sGPA. 3.7 cGPA.
Great research
great clinical
great ECs

It's just my MCAT really that's lacking. How's my school list? I definitely need to cut down so which schools should I take out? Which schools have I overlooked!

Creighton university
UCLA- they get 10,000+ apps and don't have CA preference (see website).

Jefferson Med college
USC- Heavy emphasis on MCAT score being 34+

Missouri has a strong in state bias and Howard mostly accepts URMs/those who want to work in underserved communities.

Given my research heavy experience (3 pubs, oral presentation at international conference, poster) I want to add some schools that look favorably upon research

Given your 31 MCAT score:

12. University of Miami
14. Wake Forest[/quote]
