Immune system question: NK cells

Hi all!

Quick question, about NK cells...is this right?

They are cytotoxic lymphocytes that are part of the INNATE immune system, but not the specific (adapted) immune system right? Specifically, they are the "2nd line of defense"

Do I have this down right?
