Hi everyone,
I am planning to submit a update letter to a med school I interviewed at. The update letter will focus on an accepted manuscript. Yesterday, my supervisor submitted a presentation (on a completely separate topic than the accepted manuscript) to a national conference; I am listed there as an author. Since it is only submitted and not accepted, should I exclude it from my update letter? I was also thinking I can wait a week to see if it gets accepted in the meantime.
I guess I am debating between three options:
1. Send updates now without mentioning the submitted presentation
2. Wait until Friday to see if presentation gets accepted; if no news by then, I will still include that we submitted an presentation
3. Send updates now with mentioning submitted presentation (the school sends decisions in March, and I am worried that they wouldn't consider the update letter if it's after the first week of February).
Thank you for your time and guidance.
