Hi guys,

First off, please do not give medical advise since I am looking for help, and I don't want the page deleted unless this too is not okay.

I have an inguinal hernia and it goes away when I lay down, but when I push it back in (reduce) when I am standing, it pops out again. My question I am looking for INFORMATION on (not advice from anyone here~) is: is this considered reducible or irreducible?

Again, I am looking for information on this, but can't find any talking about pushing it in when I stand. Please don't give me medical advise~.

Lay: not popped out.
Stand: popped out, but can be pushed back in, but pops out again as soon as pressure is lessened.

I will push my rents to get me surgery when I return to the states (3 1/2 weeks). I exercise everyday (recreational gymnastics) and don't want any complications and such.

Personal stories are welcome though.

If it's able to be reduced, it's reducible. It doesn't matter if it pops right out.

Remember, there's reducible, incarcerated and strangulated.

Okay, yeah. Thank you. I also found a site a minute after I read this explaining just that (I looked for 20 minutes with no luck before I posted).

Thank you.

Dear Mods,

Can we close this? Unless someone starts more discussion or something~.

Edit: Lol Bacchus is a Mod!!
