I noticed that I tend to put on some sad/somber music and recall sad thoughts to help me study, or at least, remember things better.

Anybody else do this?

I play pc with some residents. They link starcraft/aoe/warcraf units' names to remember very vague things.

It sounds like a program I can fit right in. I don't know why I haven't thought of this. I mostly used car parts, brand names, or sexual images. I can now add marines and firebats to the list.

the amount of quoting in the OR is unbelievable as well
the ones that I remember are:
"acv ready," "grease my gears," "dropping the hammer," and "it's about to get heavy."
