I am a undergrad student in New York just one semester away from graduating with a BA in Psychology. I'd like to continue my studies in child psychology, aiming to become a play therapist. What type of MA programs should I be looking at? I haven't found programs focusing directly on play therapy (I'd appreciate it if you let me know if there are any). Do you have any suggestions of good programs in New York?

You can become a certified play therapist after obtaining either a MSW or a LPC. It would be good to go into a program like that but I am unaware of it as that was not my intended specialty.
Try getting field experience with a play therapist like an unpaid internship.... - i think that is going to be a huge leg up!
