Hi everyone,
I have a friend who is interested in studying at the graduate MD program at Monash as an international student and is wondering: Does anyone know whether Monash requires you to leave the program if you somehow obtain Australian permanent residency during medical school? Or, do you have the option to stay in the program as a full-fee paying domestic student? My friend did call admissions about this, and all they said was it's up to the faculty to decide what you should do next. He also tried asking them if they had any examples of past students switching residency statuses and all they said was they aren't the faculty and would not be willing to provide me with the faculty's contact information.
Thank you!
