Hey everyone, I had a question for individuals in med school/surgical residency anywhere, but especially outside North America:
I'm doing some medical history research on a surgeon named R.R. Graham who developed the technique for the omental patch (a.k.a. the Graham patch) for duodenal ulcers. The "Graham Patch" is mentioned in "Surgical Residency/Surgical Clerkship Survival Guides" etc. in Canada (because you see it often/get questioned about it often), but I'm pretty sure the technique is pervasive enough that it's mentioned in similar books/texts from other countries too.
If anybody has a Surgery Clerkship or Surgical Residency Survival Guide that mentions the Graham patch, or you have any textbooks that mention the technique by that name, I would absolutely LOVE to see pictures of the pages that I could maybe use for a presentation, just to show how widespread this technique is.
If you could upload any of those photos here, it would be hugely appreciated!
Thank you!
