3. I have not completed any USMLE steps.
4. I find myself currently searching for a residency, fellowship, internship or research opportunity.

5. Can I do a residency without having any steps of the USMLE?
6. Can I do a fellowship without having any steps of the USMLE?
7. Can I do internship without having any steps of the USMLE?
8. Can I do research without having any steps of the USMLE?

6. Probably not without having done the equivalency a residency someplace outside the US.
7. No. "internship" just means the first year of residency.

howr you doing on your venture? im in the same boat as you are..IMG from Philippines..working as a nurse twice a week while studying for step 1..did you ever find out what else we can do to get a better chance for residency or internships? by the way, what is needed from us to get into internships?
