I have received an email from SUNY Downstate and they scheduled an interview..I definately didn't expect it and since I got it fairly late I feel like I'm one of their backups.. So I really want to do well..Anyone remember any of the questions like about what they ask or what any other schools have asked im sure it's similar? Do they ask you what you like about the school sort of questions, why you like OT, or like more personal stuff? I appreciate the help!

I haven't been to an interview yet, but I was told that it is important to solidly know the difference between an OT and a PT. And to be able to convey to them you know what an OT is and what they do with examples.

Hope that helps!

I did my interview with LLU, but the Qs are probably similar.
They asked stuff like....
What IS OT?
Why did you choose OT?
Why did you choose this school?
What volunteer work have you done?
She gave me time to explain any grades that needed explaining...
What do you do when you're stressed?
What skills will help you successfully complete the program?

etc.
it's nothing hard - just relax and you'll be great!
