What do you think about the iPhone OS 3.0 (new operating system announced by Apple). Looks like the iPhone will get some basic features like copy/paste. Do you plan to upgrade your OS?

I think I've settled on getting an iPhone, 'course now I'll wait for the next hardware announcement and see what that brings, but definitely glad to see 3.0 coming.
Mostly looking forward to: landscape keyboard, searching, push, and more calendar support.

Yes CB, for texting and I think email as well. Havent looked into it much, they announced it like the week I got my 3g.

Yea, looks like for at least mail, SMS, and notes. I would think/hope it's available for applications as well. I don't mind on screen keyboards, and from playing with a friend's iphone I don't mind using the portrait keyboard for quick tasks, but would REALLY want a larger one for anything much longer than a quick text.
